Short Biography
Md. Nazrul Islam is an eighth-semester undergraduate student in the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Islamic University, Bangladesh. His research interests focus on nanomaterials and their diverse applications in chemistry and biomedical science.
He is particularly interested in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, polymer-based materials, nanocomposites, drug-delivery systems, and the photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes and pollutants. Through his academic and research activities, he aims to develop advanced, efficient, and multifunctional materials with potential applications in environmental remediation, healthcare, and sustainable technologies.
His research engagement includes the topic “Antibacterial Efficacy of ZnO Nanoparticles against Multidrug-Resistance Bacteria: Mechanisms, Key Parameters and Emerging Technologies.” He is highly determined to understand complex subjects thoroughly and continues learning until he develops a clear understanding of them.
He works effectively both independently and collaboratively. He can perform well under established leadership and assume leadership responsibilities when required. He is proficient in Canva, Origin, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which he uses for research, data analysis, documentation, visual content creation, and presentations.
