An innovator in spider-silk technology, he earned his doctorate in Textile Science and Technology in the United Kingdom. He has published numerous research papers, books, and patents and has served as an Editor of Biggani.org.

Dr. M. Nisa Khan is the author of Understanding LED Illumination, a widely used university-level textbook on laser and LED engineering and solid-state lighting. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Macalester College in 1986, followed by an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1988 and 1992.
She is recognized for her expertise in electromagnetic phenomena and related technologies, including lasers, light-emitting diodes, and RF antennas.

Dr. Tanvir Hossain has been passionate about science since childhood and was a founding member of the Anushandhani Science Club during his school years. His science articles have appeared in various publications, and he is known for explaining complex scientific ideas in accessible Bengali.
His writing seeks to strengthen public understanding of science and encourage scientific thinking among young people. He is the author of Shatabdir Biggan, a collection of science essays, and is also interested in astrophotography. He has worked for the Australian Government as a senior scientist and served as a Guest Editor of Biggani.org.

Born in East Bengal in 1945, Manoj Kumar D. Girish completed his education and professional career in Kolkata. Although he had no formal education in computer science, he contributed to Bengali computing as a Unicode font developer. He has also served as a Guest Writer for Biggani.org.

Sagar Talukdar earned LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Rajshahi. He previously worked as a university lecturer and later joined the legal division of a telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh. He has also contributed through pro bono legal services.

Saad Abdul Wali is a writer on science and information technology and has served as Editor-in-Chief of e-learningbd.com and IT-in-Charge at Winter Dress Limited. He earned a BSS from the University of Rajshahi and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech Computer Education.
His published books include works on SQL Server, Oracle and Developer tools, scientific thinkers, and the history of inventions. He served as Section Editor for “Science for Children” at Biggani.org.

Dr. Bipro Ranjan Dhar is a chemical engineer whose research focuses on wastewater treatment. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from BUET and his doctorate from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Md. Golam Mostafa Zaman Bhuiyan has worked in the web division of a US-based e-commerce company. He previously edited the IT Corner of the Bangladeshi national newspaper The Daily Ittefaq and earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a private university in Dhaka.

H. H. Nazirul Islam Khan earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from North South University and a master’s degree in Creative Multimedia from Lincoln University, Malaysia.
He has worked in the Malaysian IT industry and contributed to Linux administration, network management, content-management systems, audiovisual content development, and the Bangladesh Open Source Network. He also supported the technical systems of Biggani.org.

Alamgir Mohammad pursued doctoral research in Telecommunications at Victoria University, Australia, while being associated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. His interests include the Bengali version of Joomla and Bengali Optical Character Recognition technology.
From 2017 to 2019, Shamima Yasmin Rima supported the technical management and coordination of Biggani.org. She also contributed to the publication of a weekly science newsletter.
Salma Akter earned an MS in Horticulture from Bangladesh Agricultural University. She worked as Principal Investigator of an integrated rice–duck farming research project at Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra in Dhaka.
Together with Abdur Rashid, she co-authored Advanced Techniques of Fruit Cultivation, published in June 2007.
