About
Md. Fahad Hossain is a Zoology student with a strong interest in research, biodiversity conservation, and science communication. He has been associated with Biggani.org as a volunteer since 2025, contributing to initiatives focused on science communication and public engagement.
He regularly participates in biodiversity observation and species documentation through iNaturalist and was recognized among the platform’s top observers in Bangladesh in 2025.
Fahad also has experience working on a Threatened Species Project under the supervision of a professor from the Department of Fisheries at the University of Rajshahi. His interests particularly focus on local biodiversity, aquatic ecosystems, threatened species, and conservation in Bangladesh.

He has worked on a Threatened Species Project under the supervision of a professor from the Department of Fisheries at the University of Rajshahi. He is particularly interested in collecting field-level data on local biodiversity, identifying species, and raising public awareness about biodiversity conservation.

Threatened Fishes of Bangladesh: Sperata aor (Hamilton, 1822): Recommendations for Sustainable Conservation
This work focuses on the conservation of threatened fish species in Bangladesh, including their habitats, conservation status, and sustainable conservation approaches.
Training & Leadership Experience
Fahad successfully completed the Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard Business School, achieving a score of 100.
He also served as a Board of Executive at the Bangladesh Advance Research Training Center (BARTC) and was a general member of the Bangladesh Young Column Writers Forum.
Contribution to Biggani.org
Fahad has been serving as a volunteer at Biggani.org since 2025. He is interested in presenting scientific information in a simple, reliable, and reader-friendly manner while encouraging scientific thinking and research interest among young people.
He is particularly interested in communicating topics related to Zoology, biodiversity, environment, wildlife, and conservation to the general public in an accessible way. He aims to contribute more actively to science-based content and public awareness initiatives through Biggani.org in the future.
Future Goals
Fahad aims to build his future career at the intersection of research, biodiversity conservation, and science communication.
He considers evidence-based research and documentation of Bangladesh’s local biodiversity, along with making scientific knowledge accessible to the general public, to be particularly important.
As a young researcher and science communicator, his goal is to contribute to positive social change through scientific research, biodiversity conservation, and effective science communication.
