About
Md. Monjurul Islam is a PhD researcher in the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at RMIT University, Australia. His research focuses on environmental pollution and remediation, with particular interests in the environmental and economic impacts of bioplastics, waste management, sustainable technologies, and wastewater treatment.
Alongside his academic research, he is passionate about making science accessible, reliable, and understandable to the general public. As an Editor of Biggani.org, he works to promote scientific thinking, rational inquiry, and interest in research among Bengali-speaking communities.
His goal at Biggani.org is to make high-quality scientific knowledge widely accessible in the Bengali language, inspire young people to engage with science and research, and build an effective bridge for science communication among researchers, students, and the public. His vision is to take science beyond laboratories and academic institutions and transform it into a powerful force for positive change in people’s thinking, decision-making, and everyday lives.
