Short Biography
Sumaita Binte Shahid is an undergraduate student in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. She is passionate about preventive nutrition, clinical case management, and public health research.
She is particularly interested in developing effective communication strategies for presenting patient case studies, diagnostic findings, and dietary recommendations to medical doctors and multidisciplinary clinical teams. She also hopes to analyze population-level datasets, including the National Nutrition Survey of Pakistan, to better understand the prevalence of nutritional problems, associated risk factors, and potential policy interventions.
As a Biggani.org volunteer, she is interested in contributing to social media, program presentation, and the communication of nutrition and public health knowledge in an accessible and engaging manner.
